What happens when you play an extremely compressed audio recording, when you are also placing (positioning) a set of speakers? Can people tell the difference between an mp3 and a wav file, or an mp3 and a 44.1 & 96 kbs format?
Many people don’t understand that a GREAT sound system will not make a bad recording sound good. If you start with a bad recording there is not much to be done. Ed explains this in his own inimitable way.
