When I or anyone is seeking out a home theater processor or a home theater receiver, 90% of your decision should be based on the quality of sound that piece delivers. Not Bells & Whistles, Dirac or any room correction software, or whether it has Dolby Vision pass-through is less than important. All those receivers or processors that begin with A (not Arcam), M, D, S, Y, yes, they provide 7.1.4 surround sound for theater, but they leave out the Audiophile Grade Sound! Listen to Chris Botti’s Concert In Boston with the Boston Pop’s , as he performs with his Chart-topping jazz trumpeting with special guests at the historic Boston Symphony Hall. His performance with Special guests Yo-Yo Ma, Katharine McPhee and Lucia Micarelli will inundate your body with goosebumps. No other way to say it. With a spectacular Sounding Rotel Processor and Amp coupled with a stunning Audio and Video recording of this epic 2008 concert, you will not remain untouched emotionally after your first song with either of those three artists I mentioned.
